Mengjeng Several Times, HPM: Honda E Not Sold For The Indonesian Market
JAKARTA - Last April the Honda car distributor in Indonesia, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) had featured Honda e which is a battery-based electric vehicle. And Honda e was also brought in at the Honda TrackFest event at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on 30-31 May 2023.
Even though it has been introduced to the public in the country, Honda e is not intended for the Indonesian market. PT HPM only presents Honda e to introduce electrical technology in Honda cars.
"We have no plans to release Honda e. Because Honda e is for the introduction of Honda e-technology, which proves that Honda has an electrification vehicle," said Yusak Billy, as Sales & Marketing Director and Business Innovation of PT HPM as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 30.
Honda e has a tiny size with a slightly stiff, modern and suitable design in urban areas. Honda e is one of the many Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) produced by Honda.
The car, which has a classic box design, has a size dimension such as a hatchback car in general, which is 3,890 mm long, 1,750 mm wide, and 1,510 mm high.
This car is equipped with two main monitor screens on the interior, precisely located on the length of the car dashboard. Then, the car is also embedded with digital mirror screen technology on the inside of the car.
The electric hatchback is equipped with an electric motor that can generate 151 dk of power and 315 Nm of torque. Interestingly, the hatchback collaborates with the rear wheel drive system.
This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/hour in just 8.3 seconds in sports mode, while in normal mode it only takes 8.6 seconds.
