Teddy Minahasa Files An Appeal Against PTDH, Here's The Response Of The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo spoke up regarding the appeal filed by Teddy Minahasa regarding the decision of Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH).
He admitted that he had no problem with Teddy's appeal, which was his right in the decision of the National Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP).
"Regarding the appeal, I think it is a regulated right," Listyo told reporters at the National Police International Center, South Tangerang, Wednesday, May 31.
Nevertheless, he assessed that the appeal would be researched by the Council of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP). Later the appeal will be announced through the KKEP Session after the comparative research takes place.
"However, of course, the attitude of the police was clear yesterday in making decisions, of course, for appeals, I think the appeal team is certainly not too far away," he continued.
Former West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Teddy Minahasa was dishonorably dismissed (PTDH) based on the results of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) trial.
The basic reason for the sanction was given because Teddy Minahasa ordered his subordinates to set aside evidence of methamphetamine and replace it with laughter.
