Police Are Still Waiting For The Autopsy Results Of Body Pieces In Sukoharjo River

Surakarta Police are still waiting for the autopsy results by the Forensic Team of Dr. Moewardi of several human body parts found in a river in Cemani Village, Glogol District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java.

"From the beginning, the human body was found at the Jenes Pringgolayan River, Serengan, Surakarta, on Sunday (21/5), at 10.30 WIB, in a row; starting from pieces of the leg, body, then the head, arms, hands and the police on Monday found another piece of the right leg," said Surakarta Police Chief Kombes Iwan Saktiadi, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 22.

Iwan conveyed that the National Police worked according to the operational procedures (SOP) scientific crime investigation by waiting for the autopsy results by the forensic team at Dr. Moewardi Hospital.

"We will wait for the results of the forensic team as to what the results will be. This means that the identity of the human body was found referring to whose name. If the residents have investigated it, if it has been found by his family, it will be investigated again for the development of the incident which resulted in the Minister X (killed). If his identity has appeared, it will be revealed whether the accident or other things include the victim of a crime," explained Ivan.

The police have not been able to report the results of the examination because they are still waiting for the eye, teeth and post mortem data, which are connected from the data bank of the National Police Headquarters identification center.

Iwan said each autopsy has different levels of difficulty, so forensics will be a foothold for the police for the next step.

"We hope that with the condition of human body pieces that are still visible in shape. So, there are still skin and meat attached or shape. Pray for the Forensic team to immediately get an answer to finding the body part because we have not found a single body part support from where. A number of witnesses have been examined. the discovery of the body," said Iwan.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sukoharjo Police, AKP Teguh Prasetyo, said that there were three pieces of human bodies found in a number of rivers in the Cemani Village area, Grogol District, and the Bengawan Solo tributary in the Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo.

The three pieces of the body found on Sunday were left hands in the river in Cemani Village and left calf in the tributary of Bengawan Solo, Sukoharjo. Meanwhile, another body part was found in the Cemani area, Monday.

From citizen reports, the police together with the TNI deployed a team including the Indonesia AutomaticFingerprintIdentification System (Inafis) to the location and evacuated the body parts.
