Inter Milan Vs AC Milan Champions League Semifinal Second Leg Preview: Nerazzurri Stay Careful

JAKARTA - Inter Milan will host AC Milan in the second leg of the 2022/2023 Champions League semifinals. Inter have the advantage of winning 2-0 in the first leg.

However, the Nerazzurri should not be happy. AC Milan could turn things around even though they will compete in front of supporters of the opponent.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi instructed her foster children to play carefully against AC Milan. According to him, Stefano Pioli's opposing team has a quality player and was the defending champion of Serie A last season.

"We faced a team with several quality players, who won the Scudetto last year, so we have to be very careful," Inzaghi said on the club's official website, as reported by Antara.

The Italian coach said he could not predict the course of the match because there was a time for his team to play attacking and there was a time for his team to play defensively.

"You can never predict how a game will be played. There will be times when we have to defend and there is a time when we will progress," said Inzaghi.

The Nerazzurri have reached the semifinals since the last time in the 2009/2010 season when they won the variable winners under Jose Mourinho.

Regarding this, Inzaghi said that the second leg semifinal match would be the biggest match from the history of the Blue and Black team.

"Later on is one of the biggest matches in Inter history. We come with a decent advantage, we will come out and play with our best abilities," said the coach who was born on April 5, 1976.

Inter are in a positive trend because they are unbeaten in the last 12 matches in all competitions (9W, 3D). This positive trend makes the 47-year-old coach optimistic that he will be able to achieve maximum results ahead of the second leg match against the Rossoneri.

"We know that we are in very good form and we are ready for a very important game. It will be a difficult match," said Inzaghi.

If they manage to get rid of Milan from the UCL semifinals, Inter has the potential to win double winners because this season it reaches the top parties in two competitions, namely the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
