Iriana Jokowi Practices Rangku Alu Games In Front Of ASEAN Leaders' Assistance
NTT - First Lady Iriana Jokowi invites the assistants to the leaders of ASEAN member countries to witness cultural activities on the sidelines of the series of ASEAN 42nd Summit activities in Puncak Waringin, Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on Wednesday, May 10.
According to a press statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the First Lady welcomed the arrival of assistants to the leaders of ASEAN member countries in a closed event.
Bun Rany Hun Sen from Cambodia became the companion to the leader of the first ASEAN member country to be welcomed by Iriana, followed by Vandara Sindaphone from Laos.
Furthermore, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail from Malaysia, Louise Araneta Marcos from the Philippines, and Ho Ching from Singapore.
After welcoming, the assistants to the leaders of ASEAN member countries headed to the waiting room that had been provided.
While in the waiting room, they witnessed a demonstration of mengaming and weaving a typical NTT cloth accompanied by Expert Staff for Social Culture and Community Empowerment of Indonesians Abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Siti Nugraha Mauludiah and the wife of NTT Governor Julie Sutrisno Laiskodat.

Iriana then invited the assistants to the leaders of ASEAN member countries to witness cultural activities, including the Dundundakke dance performance and the traditional game Rangku Alu.
On this occasion, First Lady Iriana Jokowi also practiced the traditional game of Rangku Alu in front of the leaders of ASEAN member countries.
In addition, the First Lady invited them to visit the 2nd floor of Puncak Waringin to see products of micro, small and medium enterprises in the form of various handicrafts and regional special foods.
The activities of the accompanying leaders of ASEAN member countries ended with a tea banquet with Iriana.
Songs from countries in Southeast Asia, including songs from the NTT region, were sung at the banquet.
