Jokowi's First Review Of Natar Market When Stepping On His Feet In Lampung
LAMPUNG SELATAN - Residents are enthusiastic to see firsthand the visit of President Joko Widodo at Natar Market, South Lampung, Lampung.
President Jokowi's entourage arrived at Natar Market at around 08.30 WIB with the enthusiasm of the traders and residents who had been waiting since morning.
Residents shouted out "Pak Jokowi, Pak Jokowi" and were greeted with a smile from Jokowi.
Jokowi had a dialogue with traders regarding trading businesses in the market. He also distributed food packages, T-shirts, and jackets for residents and traders at the Natar Market.
"Mr. President, we need a parking lot in this market, because there is no large parking area to accommodate vehicles," said one chicken trader as reported by ANTARA, Friday, May 5.
Jokowi also seemed to listen to the complaints of traders and had summoned South Lampung Regent Nanang Hermanto to participate in listening to the complaints. Jokowi also ensured the availability of basic materials and their prices in the area.
Furthermore, one of the snack vendors said he was happy with Jokowi's presence, who had visited the Natar Market for the first time.
"I am happy to see Pak Jokowi, our President," said Endang.
He hopes that the prices of basic commodities can be affordable considering that currently they are quite expensive.

Also accompanying Jokowi during the visit were Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuldjono, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir, Governor of Lampung Arinal Djunaidi, Deputy Governor of Lampung Chusnunia Chalim, Regent of South Lampung Nanang Hermanto, as well as a number of TNI and Polri officials.
