5 Residents' Houses In Sai Bima NTB Village Burnt Out, Duga Police Triggered By Electric Short Circuit

Members of the Soromandi Police, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara helped extinguish the fire of five houses in Sai Village, Soromandi District, Thursday, at 11.00 WITA."A total of five houses belonging to residents in Sai Village were burned down," said Bima Police Chief AKBP Hariyanto in a written statement in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, April 27.He said the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit, while the houses that were burned were empty because the owners were in the fields."There is no carbon soul," he said.The fire was initially discovered by local residents who saw a puff of smoke coming out of the house of one of the victims named Jahrin."The distance of the house is close to each other and the wind is quite strong accompanied by hot weather, so the fire quickly spreads and burns the five houses," he said.Soromamdi Police personnel who received this information immediately moved to the TKP and helped extinguish the fire with local residents with makeshift tools."An hour later the fire was extinguished, but the five houses could not be saved," he said.The houses and owners who experienced the fire accident were two houses on stilts, nine poles leveled with Jahrin's land with a loss of around Rp. 90 million.One six-mast stage house is razed to Budiman's land with a loss of approximately Rp. 10 million. One half-permanent house is razed to Kisman's land with a loss of approximately Rp. 40 million.One house on stage 12 poles suffered damage to the north wall in the name of Samsin with a loss of around Rp. 10 million.On that occasion, Soromam Police personnel appealed to the surrounding community to leave the house to ensure that security first turned off the stove and revoke unnecessary electricity.
