Ngaku Runs Out Of Tickets To Go Home, Attorney General's Office Employees Are Allowed To Work Remotely

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has allowed remote or remote work for its employees who reasoned that they could not come to work on the first day because they ran out of return flow tickets for homecoming.

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumedana, said this policy was also to support the government's appeal so that workers, especially ASN, TNI-Polri do not return home or return from homecoming at the same time on April 24 and 25, in order to prevent the density of the flow of Eid Al-Fitr 2023.

"For employees who apply for additional leave due to non-availability of return tickets, according to the Government's advice, they can contact their direct superiors for approval and conduct WFA, so that services continue to run well," said Ketut in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 26, quoted by Antara.

According to Ketut, prosecutors can do WFA as long as they get permission from their direct superiors. Meanwhile, employees who already have a return ticket first are allowed to come to work according to the specified schedule.

"Because people also need services," said Ketut.

Meanwhile, the first day of work for the Indonesian Attorney General's Office carried out an antigen swab for all prosecutors to prevent the spread of Arcturus' new COVID-19 subvariant on the first day of work after the 2023 Eid leave holiday.

Ketut said that the implementation of the antigen swab was based on the orders of Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin to be aware of the spread of the new COVID-19 Archturus subvariant or Omicron XBB.1.16 subvariant which was first identified in January 2023 and monitored by WHO since March 22, 2023.

"This step is for the prevention and early detection of the spread of COVID-19 in the work environment of the Attorney General's Office, especially after the national holiday and joint leave of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri," said Ketut.

According to Ketut, the results of the antigen swab are ensured that all Attorney General's employees are in good health, negative for COVID-19 and ready to work after a collective leave holiday.

Ketut also conveyed the Attorney General's message to all ranks of the Prosecutor's Office to maintain health by implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Attorney General also appealed to all levels of employees at the high prosecutor's office, state prosecutors and branch of the state prosecutor's office to carry out antigen swabs to detect and prevent early prevention in order to ensure that employees are in good health after undergoing national holidays and leave with Eid Al-Fitir.

"So that all the services of the Prosecutor's Office continue to run normally and the community seeking justice is served well," he said.
