Forms Of Task Force Involves Police And AGO To Investigate Rp349 Trillion TPPU, Mahfud MD: All Work Professionally

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD revealed that the TPPU Committee will soon form a joint team or task force (task force) to follow up on allegations of money laundering in the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) worth IDR 349 trillion. This follow-up is related to LHA-LHP which has not been handled by the Ministry of Finance.Initially, Mahfud said, out of 300 LHA-LHP submitted by PPATK from 2009 to 2023 to the Ministry of Finance and to APH, some of them have been followed up. However, others are still in the process of being resolved by both the Ministry of Finance, as well as by APH."The Ministry of Finance has completed most of the LHA related to administrative actions against state civil servants or servants who have been proven to have violated the provisions of law number 5 of 2014 concerning ASN junto PP number 94 of 2021 concerning the discipline of civil servants," Mahfud said in the RDPU at Commission III of the DPR, Tuesday, April 11.Mahfud emphasized that the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs will continue to follow up on allegations of TPA and ML that have not been fully implemented in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the prevention and eradication of TPPU will cooperate with PPATK and law enforcement officials.Therefore, said Mahfud, the TPPU Committee will soon form a joint team or task force that will carry out supervision to follow up on the entire LHA-LHP with an aggregate value of more than Rp. 349 trillion."And encourage case building to be carried out, namely building cases from scratch by prioritizing LHP with the greatest value because it has become the public's attention. Later it will start with LHP with an aggregate value of more than Rp. 189 trillion," he explained.The joint team or task force, he added, will involve PPATK, Directorate General of Taxes, Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Bareskrim Polri, Pidsus Attorney General's Office, OJK supervision, BIN and the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.
"Finally, the TPPU committee and the joint task force team will work professionally, transparently and accountably," said Mahfud.
