Pursuing Coattail Effect, PKS Asks For Cadres In Banten-Jakarta-West Java DPRD To Campaign For Anies' Achievements In DKI

JAKARTA - PKS instructed all of its cadres in the DPR and DPRD in Banten, Jakarta, and West Java (Banjabar) to echo Anies Baswedan's achievements while serving as Governor of DKI for the 2017-2022 period.

PKS DPP chairman Mardani Ali Sera said the socialization of Anies' achievements in DKI was a strategy for PKS to get the coat-tail effect during the 2024 Pileg.

This was disclosed by Mardani in technical guidance (bimtek) for members of the banjabar PKS faction on Monday, March 6.

"By having declared Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate, DPRD members in Banjabar must really maximize their efforts to increase PKS votes by conveying Anies' success in Jakarta which is supported by PKS. Not only Jakarta, but Banten and West Java, which are close to Jakarta, must be able to maximize support for Anies to increase PKS votes," said Mardani.

To members of the DPR and DPRD from PKS in Banjabar, Mardani requested that they be the main contributors to PKS' victory in the 2024 elections. Considering that Banjabar is the main base and ballot barn for PKS.

"So with all the resources they have, the popularity that has been built while being a member of the board, and the wide network they have, these board members should be the driving force for winning," he said.

Therefore, through the technical guidance, Mardani hopes that the members of this council will make good use of the material provided regarding skills in communicating with various parties, how to dialogue with various groups to gain their sympathy, fostering communities that have been visited in the capacity as members of the council, and make it the basis of victory.

"Our communication principle is 3A, cool, get along, have fun. Adem means to make the atmosphere comfortable; get along, unite, don't divide or separate; fun has to connect to millennials, connect to segments. So God willing, PKS will bring a cool, fun atmosphere, agree," explained Mardani.

According to Mardani, the principle of communication is also in line with Anies' style since serving as university chancellor, Minister of Education and Culture, to the Governor of DKI Jakarta.
