GP Ansor Cadres Don't Be Emotional, Let Law Enforcement Officials Process The Case Of South Jakarta DJP Of Tax Official's Son

JAKARTA - The Legal Aid Institute (LBH) GP Ansor will take action by reporting the video recorder and disseminator of the abuse that Cristalino David Ozora experienced by the son of an official at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), Mario Dandy Satrio (17).

"LBH Ansor will immediately report on the recording and distribution of the video of this violent incident so that the police can immediately investigate and process it," said the Head of LBH Ansor Center, Abdul Qadir in a written statement, Thursday, February 23.

LBH considers that the act of recording and distributing videos of violent incidents is an illegal act and contrary to the norms that exist in society. What's more, the victim is a minor.

"A heinous act that is contrary to the norms that live in society and is a crime that is punishable by criminal law," he said.

On this occasion, LBH GP Ansor appealed to those distributing video recordings of the incident to stop. This is a form of respect for victims who are undergoing treatment.

Apart from that, he also asked his cadres not to get emotional about the case that was experienced by the child of the GP Ansor administrator. Abdul asked his party to respect the legal process in force.

"Comply with the law and be able to exercise restraint, and not be provoked into taking steps outside of legal procedures because we have handed over the handling of the legal process of this case to law enforcement officials," he concluded.

For information, there is a video circulating of moments of violence committed by Mario Dandy Satrio against David. This also became the public spotlight related to the incident.
