Sido Muncul Provides IDR 500 Million In Assistance For Earthquake Victims In Turkey

JAKARTA - PT Sido Muncul Tbk (Sido Muncul) Jamu and Pharmaceutical Industries is participating in helping earthquake victims in Turkiye. Sido Muncul made a donation in the form of money worth IDR 500 million on Wednesday 15 February.

The Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat, handed over the IDR 500 million donation to the Deputy Ambassador of Turkiye, Omer Orhun Celikkol.

"I am sorry for the victims who were affected by the earthquake. I also express my deep sympathy and sorrow for the victims who died, were injured, and refugees," said Irwan.

Irwan explained that his party entrusted the management of this donation money to the embassy. He believes the embassy is more aware of the needs that must be met by the victims of the Turkiye earthquake.

Irwan hopes that the assistance provided by Sido Muncul to earthquake victims in Turkiye can be useful. He also held the Three Hail Mary Novena Prayers for nine days to pray for the earthquake victims.

"The assistance we provide is relatively small, while the needs are definitely a lot. Even so, I hope that the assistance provided by Sido Muncul can help restore (earthquake victims) Turkiye and Syria. Hopefully, the victims (affected) can be helped and healed," he said.

Omer also thanked Sido Muncul for providing assistance to the Turkiye earthquake victims. He appreciated the company's commitment to sharing, helping, and donating to many parties, including the Turkiye earthquake victims.

After the aid delivery procession, Irwan and Ömer talked about Sido Muncul products. Omer said he often consumes Sido Muncul herbal products, especially Tolak Angin.

After consuming the product, his breathing felt relieved. Sido Muncul's products, said Omer, is already like national products because they represent Indonesia, just as ginseng represents Korea.
