Appearing Together At The Super Bowl, Background Dancers Didn't Know Rihanna Was Pregnant
JAKARTA - Rihanna shocked the public with her appearance at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Not only was her appearance phenomenal, but her pregnancy was also a highlight as well as a surprise in itself.
On the other hand, Rihanna's pregnancy was not known to many people, including her background dancers. Even though they appeared together, one of Rihanna's background dancers revealed this fact through social media.
One of the background dancers, Luhnyae, answered netizens' questions via TikTok. One user asked, "Did you know she (Rihanna) was pregnant?"
The background dancer replied that she was not aware of this news. Maybe the main dancer already knows Rihanna, but it's different from the background dancers who first worked with the diva.
"I didn't know she was pregnant. Maybe the main dancer, who goes to every tour, every show and stuff. But me, it being my first stage and only practicing with Rihanna for a week, so I don't know," she replied.

Furthermore, she explained why the background dancers did not know this. The reason is that Rihanna always practices wearing baggy clothes.
“She comes to rehearsals in oversized fur coats or Fenty sets all the time, like oversized sweatshirts. So I was also surprised," she said.
Rihanna also wore a long red dress on stage while appearing at the Super Bowl. She made the surprise by touching her stomach and letting her shirt zipper open.
Rihanna later confirmed that the musician is expecting her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky. It is known that the rapper was also present to support Rihanna, who made her first appearance after nine years.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have their first son together in May 2022.
