Young Woman Who Molested 17 Boys In Jambi Underwent Psychological Observation At Psychiatric Hospital
JAMBI - A young woman suspected of molesting 17 minors, namely YS (25), was taken to the Jambi Provincial Mental Hospital to undergo observation by a psychiatrist.
Kasubdit IV PPA Ditreskrimum Polda Jambi AKBP Kristian Adi Wibawa said the Jambi Police took the suspect YS to the Jambi Hospital to undergo observation regarding her psyche.
"This observation will be carried out for the next 14 days," he said as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 7.
This observation, he said, is part of the further investigation process to find out the suspect's psychology and other allegations that must refer to the results issued by the Psychiatric Hospital doctor.
Until now, he said, the number of victims is still 17 children. He has not received any reports regarding the addition of new victims. The 17 victims are currently entrusted to the Alyatama Center to receive psychological assistance.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Medical Services Division of the Jambi Hospital, Zakaria, said that the examinations carried out at the Psychiatric Hospital were related to psychiatry which was carried out based on the operating procedure system of the mental hospital for 14 days.

Later if YS needs a psychologist, he said, the RSJ will call a psychologist for the perpetrator.
"Now we enter first into the observation room," he said.
He explained further actions to the suspect YS now still have to coordinate with the examining psychiatrist.
As previously reported, Jambi City was shocked by the sexual abuse of 17 minors by a young woman with the initials YS (25) who is the owner of a "PlayStation rental" business in Jambi City.
