Thailand BMK Cup 2023, Indonesia Successfully Wins Four Gold Medals
JAKARTA - Indonesia managed to bring home four gold, one silver and three bronze in the 2023 Thailand BMX Cup event which took place at the Huamark Velodrome, Bangkok, Thailand.
Based on the UCI official website, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday 5 February, the gold won by Indonesia respectively through the national training camp (pelatnas) athlete Jasmine Az-zahra became the best in the elite women's number.
He managed to beat Thai cyclist Kitwanitsathian Chutikan in second place and Red and White representative, Amellya Nur Sifa, who had to settle for bronze.
Then Indonesia also added gold through Shifa Maulidina Qotrun Nada who dropped in the junior women's number. He won over vice-host Kaodee Thitichaya in second place and non-trainee Indonesian athlete Shanaz Mumtaz who won bronze.
Then another national athlete, Aditya Fajar Putu Soekarno, also brought home a gold medal in the under-23 men's number after defeating two White Elephant Country cyclists Jaiyo Apisit in second place and Klaymaneehan Nappadol in third place.
In the men's under-U23 number, Indonesia also has national athlete Muhammad Fattahilla Haq Nursalam who had to settle for finishing seventh.
Meanwhile, another gold won by non-training cyclist Rahendra Rafelino in the junior men's number who defeated Thai representatives Phimpa Likkasit and Rassamee Saranvit in second and third respectively.

One silver for Indonesia came from non-trainee athlete Rio Akbar who competed in the elite men's number. He lost to Thai cyclist Sukprasert Komet who won gold. Then the bronze was won by the Indonesian representative who has the status of national athlete Yussi Wakhidur Rizal.
In the elite men's number, Indonesia also has I Gusti Bagus Sapurtra who is also a national athlete. But he was only able to occupy the seventh position. In addition, there was a non-training cyclist, Firman Alim, who finished in fourth place.
