Minister Risma Asks Regional Heads To Quickly Verify Proposal Objections For DTKS

JAKARTA - The Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini asked regional heads to immediately verify the objection proposal data for the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS).

"I ask the regions to approve 4,203 objections, then they are waiting for verification for 125,000 objections, this is awaited by the community," said Minister of Social Affairs Risma at the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of Regional Heads and Forkopimda followed online in Jakarta, Tuesday 17 January.

The Ministry of Social Affairs is currently receiving proposals for around 19 million beneficiary families (KPM) from local governments so it is hoped that local governments will immediately verify their objections.

Then the KPM data that has been proposed by the regional government, can then be followed up by the Ministry of Social Affairs so that it is contained in a decree issued every month to update the DTKS.

In the new DTKS improvement cycle explained by the Minister of Social Affairs, in the verification and validation process, DTKS is matched with Dukcapil, BKN, AHU, and BPJS Employment data.

This is to avoid data errors such as ASN and company management, who are registered at the Directorate General of General Legal Administration (AHU) belonging to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, are included in the list of social assistance recipients.

The Minister of Social Affairs also implements quality assurance and provides public information such as the "proposal objection" feature to maintain data validity.

Currently, there are 148.7 million people registered with the DTKS. This data is valid data which is equivalent to Dukcapil.

The Minister of Social Affairs also explained the regional government's participation in DTKS verification where as many as 33.8 million data were corrected by the local government. But now there are 19.6 million new proposals that must be verified and validated by regional governments.

The Minister of Social Affairs invited regional governments to play an active role in improving data, considering that DTKS is used as a reference in distributing social assistance both at the central and regional levels. One of them is the membership reference for Health Insurance Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI JK).

"Now many regions are asking for additional PBI proposals from the Minister (Minister of Health). I have already proposed adding it to Bu Menkeu (Minister of Finance). But only the PBI has been approved for disabilities," he told Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin who was also a resource person on panel III.

In addition to presenting the data, the Minister of Social Affairs also explained the Ministry of Social Affairs' programs in improving the social welfare of the community such as Social Assistance, National Economic Heroes (PENA), provision of social storages for disaster-prone areas, ATENSI Creative Centers, and most importantly the birth of a new, more dynamic DTKS.

Apart from the Minister of Health, also attending Panel III were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendi, Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, Sumedang Regent Dony Ahmad Munir, and Physicist Yohanes Surya who explained his enthusiasm for teaching Indonesian children to be good at arithmetic.
