Halloween Stuntman Actor James Winburn Dies

JAKARTA - Actor James Winburn passed away on November 19 last. This sad news was revealed by his manager today, Tuesday, November 22 local time.

James Winburn reportedly died of an undisclosed illness. Launching the Evening Standard, the manager also did not reveal the funeral process and the bereaved family.

James Winburn is a stuntman who played Michael Myers in the 1978 film Halloween. Winburn played several iconic roles and scenes, one of which was the scene where Donald Pleasence shot Myers six times.

Winburn also played Myers in its sequel Halloween II and several other action films such as Escape From New York, Tron, Colors, The Night Stalker, Glory and The Couch Trip.

In television, Winburn has acted in The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. He also got stuntman positions for several actors such as Stan Lee, David Hasselhoff, Peter O'Toole, and Barry Bostwick.

Monopoly Events as one of the event organizers once invited James Winburn to their event to write their condolences.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of James Winburn who joined us for For the Love of Horror last month. It was an honor to work with James through the story", said Monopoly Events.

"Our condolences go to the bereaved family", continued.

James Winburn died at the age of 85.
