Persib Bandung Defender Holds PSSI's Words About The Continuation Of League 1 Competition
JAKARTA - The continuation of the 2022/2023 Liga 1 competition has no bright spot. However, the Persib Bandung players, continue to do exercises to maintain fitness.
The Blue Prince players remain enthusiastic in undergoing training. The reason is, they hold on to PSSI's statement which says Liga 1 is likely to roll again at the end of November.
"We are also still sticking to the schedule that PSSI (transformation team) determined, at that time if I'm not mistaken November 25 or 26 2022. So we players are still sticking to that," said Achmad Jufriyanto on Persib's official website, Thursday, November 3.
The former Indonesian national team player hopes that there will be a bright spot regarding the fate of national football. Not only the legal process is ongoing, but also the improvement of Indonesian football in general.
"Hopefully there will be a bright spot and all can get the best," said the player who is familiarly called Jupe.
As previously reported, member of the Executive Committee (Exco) Ahmad Riyadh said the Indonesian Football Transformation team is targeted to work until the end of November 2022 or before the Indonesian League competition resumes.
"The target is to finish by the end of November. One week before the competition runs, everything is finished," said Ahmad, as quoted by Antara.
This is in accordance with the timeline or timeline for reforming national football which was set during the formation of the Indonesian Football Transformation Task Force.
"The provisional schedule for the return of Liga 1 November 25-26," read the explanation at the meeting obtained by the media crew on October 13 last.
