Desperately Breaking Through The Railroad Barrier, Motorcycle Rider Hit by Electric Rail Train, Serious Head Injury

TANGERANG - A motorcyclist with the initials L (62) suffered serious injuries after being struck by an Electric Rail Train (KRL) on Jalan Raya Cisauk Lapan, precisely crossing Cisauk Station, Tangerang Regency.

Head of Laka South Tangerang Police, Iptu Nanda Satya said the incident occurred on Thursday, September 29, at 13.30 WIB.

The incident started when the victim was driving from Simpang Asem, Cisauk, Tangerang Regency. However, while crossing the railroad crossing, the motorcyclist broke through the doorstop, as a result, he was struck by a KRL in the direction of Tanah Abang-Rangkas Bitung.

"L (victim) bounced and suffered injuries to the head and hands", said Nanda when confirmed, Thursday, September 29.

The victim was immediately evacuated and rushed to the Tangerang District Hospital for further action.

"He was evacuated to the Selaras Hospital, then referred to the Tangerang District Hospital for further medical assistance", he concluded.
