Flying To Sragen, First Lady Greet Children At Pertiwi Kliwonan 1 Kindergarten

JAKARTA - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo accompanied by the Vice President's wife, Wury Ma'ruf Amin, made a working visit to Sragen Regency, Central Java, Thursday, September 22.

According to a press statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the group departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, at around 07.00 WIB to the Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base in Boyolali Regency, Central Java.

From Boyolali, the First Lady and her entourage will continue their journey to the Masaran District Office in Sragen Regency to provide basic food assistance to pregnant women, toddlers, people with disabilities, and the elderly.

They are then scheduled to visit Kindergarten (TK) Pertiwi Kliwonan 1 in Masaran District to greet children.

At TK Pertiwi Kliwonan 1, they will also review the socialization of waste sorting, the socialization of hand washing movements, and teaching and learning activities in class.

Furthermore, the First Lady's group will visit the Windasari batik center to review the process of making batik and batik products.

The First Lady and her entourage are scheduled to return to Jakarta via the Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base in Boyolali on Thursday, September 22 afternoon.
