The Arrangement Of The Bali Mandara Toll Road Ahead Of The G20 Mudung Summit

BADUNG - The construction work on the Bali Mandara Toll Road carried out by PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through its subsidiary, PT Jasamarga Bali Tol (JBT), has reached 100 percent in the third week of August 2022.

"With the completion of all construction work for the Bali Mandara Toll Road, we are ready to welcome the holding of the G20 Presidency in November 2022", said PT Jasamarga Bali Toll I Toll Director, Ketut Adiputra Karang, in Badung Regency, Monday, September 5.

He explained that several arrangements that have been made ahead of the G20 Summit on the only toll road currently on the island of the Gods include landscape arrangement, a green environment in the mangrove planting program, and trees for gardening.

In addition, Green energy in the work of Solar Power Plants (PLTS), adding local Balinese culture to the ornaments for Public Street Lighting (PJU), toll gate renovations, and the installation of Balinese dancer sculptures have also been completed.

According to Ketut Adiputra Karang, the Bali Mandara Toll Road which connects Nusa Dua-I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport-Denpasar is one of the infrastructures that will later support the mobilization of delegates from G20 member countries while in Bali.

"Not only making arrangements for aesthetics, but we are also committed to implementing green environment and green energy-based programs, this is in line with the environmental issues discussed in the G20", he said.

To support the G20 Summit event in November 2022 in Bali, PT Jasamarga Bali Tol will also provide optimal services during the G20 Summit.

"Furthermore, we are committed to operating toll roads while maintaining local wisdom and being environmentally friendly so that the toll road which is one of the icons on the Island of the Gods is maintained and its beauty is maintained", said Ketut Adiputra Karang.
