Medical Worker From Singapore Becomes A Victim Of Theft In Bali

BADUNG - The North Kuta Police Team, Badung, Bali arrested a man named Rigel Sian Stirman (23) from Manado. Rigel stole a cosmetic bag belonging to a medical worker from Singapore, Muhammad Fadhil Bin Mohamed Yusof (30).

"The perpetrator was able to dodge, after a search, finally the stolen bag and its contents were found in his boarding house. After intensive interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that he took the victim's bag by jumping over the villa wall and then taking things in the living room and bathroom that were not locked," said the police chief North Kuta Police Commissioner (Kompol) Putu Diah Kuniawandari, Tuesday, August 30.

The theft occurred on Friday, August 26 at the Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong villa, Canggu Village, North Kuta.

The victim, who was surprised that his cosmetic bag was missing, immediately reported it to the villa manager. From the CCTV footage, it can be seen that the thief climbed up the front door of the villa.

This case was handled by the North Kuta Police, who later arrested the perpetrators on Sunday, August 28 at the Sand Bar, Canggu.

The stolen items belonging to medical personnel from Singapore were 1 cosmetic bag, perfume, Apple Watch with a total loss of IDR 14.8 million.

"The perpetrator was charged with Article 363 paragraph 1 to 3 of the Criminal Code. The perpetrator was detained at the North Kuta Police for further proceedings," said Kompol Diah.
