Petra Kvitova Accepts Coach's Proposal At A Special Place: I Said Yes
JAKARTA - Tennis player from the Czech Republic, Petra Kvitova, will soon let go of her single life. She announced that she was officially engaged to her coach, Jiri Vanek.
This engagement took place in a "special place", as Kvitova shared on her social media accounts, both Twitter and Instagram.
"Good news that we want to share with you guys. I say "yes" in my special place," wrote Kvitova accompanying the photo with her fiancé.
This news was conveyed three days after being runner-up at the WTA Tour 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, Reuters reported as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, August 24.
The special venue in question is believed to be the All England Lawn Tennis Club. The reason, she has twice won Wimbledon at this place, namely in 2011 and 2014.
Kvitova started working with Vanek in November 2016. Since then, the two interacted regularly until the seeds of love finally appeared.
Before being coached by Vanek, Kvitova had fired two coaches in one year. One of them is Frantisek Cermak, who split after the US Open in 2016.
