Unique Moment Happens Again: Kyrgios Approaches The Spectator, Asks Where He Wants The Service Ball To Go

JAKARTA - Nick Kyrgios doesn't want to go unnoticed. The Australian is once again in the spotlight on the court.

Returning to action after losing the Wimbledon final to Novak Djokovic, Kyrgios won comfortably against American Marcos Giron 6-3, 6-2 in the Washington tournament.

With a score of 6-3 and 5-2, the Australian has three match points.

Before serving, Kyrgios turned to a fan in the stands and asked where he wanted the ball to go.

Previously, in 2019, Kyrgios had done this in the same place.

"I think it's a cool experience for someone who pays money to come watch you play and potentially go home with those memories, whether it's a young kid or an older woman like today," Kyrgios said, quoted by Marca, Thursday.

"I wish I had that experience when I was watching a tennis match."

After his win against Giron, Kyrgios will face Tommy Paul in the second round of the Washington Open.
