JIS Stadium Spectators Fence Collapses, AHY's Men Ask Anies To Admit Mistakes In Using Building Materials

JAKARTA - Democratic Party politician Ardi Wirdamulia or Awe responded to the incident of the collapse of the Jakarta International Stadium or JIS spectator guardrail in North Jakarta. "It's sad indeed," said Awe through his Twitter account, @awemany, Monday, July 25.

According to him, the incident that occurred during the grand launching or inauguration of JIS on Sunday, July 24, needs to be followed up. He hopes that there will be discussion steps related to regulations that are violated or do not comply with the requirements for using JIS construction quality.

"It's sad indeed. But in many ways, yes, we do have to regulate/stipulate conditions with the worst behavior," he said.

Therefore, the subordinates of the General Chairperson of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono alias AHY requested that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government headed by Governor Anies Baswedan admit the mistake that had caused the JIS audience barrier to collapse.

"So the mistake in using the separation wall material in JIS is just admitting it," he said.

Awe said that it was legal for a party to admit his guilt. He also defended that Anies or PT Jakarta Propertindo or Jakpro as the JIS builder would be pressured if they admit mistakes that have been made.

"Is there anything wrong with being a person?" he said.
