This Married Couple Enjoys Drinking In Pub And Dares To Leave Their 7 Months Old Baby For 8 Hours

JAKARTA - The actions of this married couple are not to be imitated. They drank at the pub and had the heart to leave their seven-month-old baby alone in the house for eight hours.

Emotions are allowed. But this happened in Japan.

Quoted from Japan Today, Thursday, July 7, the husband's name is Takashi Uemae. She works for Hokkaido Television Broadcasting Co (HTB). Meanwhile, Yureka Sonoda, the wife, is a housewife.

So these two left their son alone at home for about eight hours on July 2. The time range is between 20:30 and 430 the next morning as reported by NHK.

Sonoda went home alone at around 3 am and called the police because the door key was missing. When the police helped her into the apartment, they found the baby crying on the bed.

Police report, that the baby was not injured a bit. Not long after, it was Uemae's turn to arrive home. Both came home drunk.

Police said the couple told them they were going for a drink on izakaya (Japan Island). Police said they denied ignoring the child. And citing Sonoda's statement, during the drinking event they used a smartphone application to keep an eye on the baby.

However, the police still arrested them on suspicion of ignoring their responsibilities as guardians.
