Ulama At Condet Supports Ganjar To Be Presidential Candidate In 2024
JAKARTA - The ulama and Habib as well as 1,300 santri in Condet, East Jakarta, support the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo to run for the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).
The National Coordinator of Santri Supporting Ganjar, Acep Amirudin, said that the support from the ulama and thousands of students was carried out through prayer and prayer.
"Hopefully this joint prayer event will continue to be voiced to get support from Condet residents," Acep said in a written statement quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 29.
Acep introduced Ganjar as a pro figure for the people in the Betawi village.
Moreover, according to Acep, Ganjar is also familiar with Islamic boarding schools and religious leaders because he often stays in touch with a number of Islamic boarding schools in the area.
In addition, Acep said, the Governor of Central Java during the two periods carried out policies that paid attention to young people, especially students through the "Lapak Ganjar" program and free Vocational High Schools (SMK).
"For the sake of realizing prosperous students and excellent programs for students so that they can participate in building the economy," said Acep.
The leader of the Tanqiyatul Qulub Council, Habib Reza, admitted that he had known Ganjar through television and social media reports.
Habib Reza hopes that the elected president, including Ganjar, can bring Indonesia more prosperous and prosperous.
"Our hope is that the santri, young ustadz, and the wider community, in general, can get a prosperous life, prosperity, and unity among all of us," said Habib Reza.
