Tiara Andini Can't Believe Her Face Is In The Cinema With Jefri Nichol In My Sassy Girl

JAKARTA - The film My Sassy Girl is ready to be screened in Indonesian cinemas starting June 23, 2022. This film is Tiara Andini's acting debut. Tiara Andini admits that she is grateful to be able to act with Jefri Nichol in her first film.

"I'm happy and grateful to be here and chosen to be the main character. This is different from singing because acting is a new world and I need deepening," said Tiara at the My Sassy Girl Premiere Gala in Jakarta, Friday night, June 18.

"Honestly, until now, I'm still nervous. After watching it, it feels really tacky when I see my face on the big screen. I'm really happy," he added.

The tiara said she did a lot of acting practice before filming started.

"I did acting coaching, stole a start before practicing with Nichol. I felt I needed more guidance because this is a new world for me, whose basics is a singer. Many spices are included in this role, because Sissy's character is very different from my character in the real world ", said Tiara.

The two main players in the film My Sassy Girl, namely Jefri Nichol and Tiara Andini, shared their experiences of acting in their latest film.

For Nichol who plays Gian, a young man who is patient, deepening his character is quite challenging for him.

"The process of deepening the character is more about reading and practicing together. Mas Fajar (Bustomi) also often comes. He asks for courage in my eyes, to lower it more, to be more shy. There is a dose that is increased and decreased," said Nichol

He revealed that not all things in Gian contradict him. "It's not 100 percent reversed with me because I have the same experience as Gian. So, his memories are called back for this role," said Jefri Nichol.
