Calling Indonesian Men's Doubles "Crazy", Danish Players: They Have 6 Pairs In The World Rankings

JAKARTA - Danish player, Andres Skaarup Rasmussen, was amazed by the stock of men's doubles that Indonesia had. In fact, he called the Indonesian men's doubles sector "crazy".

Rasmussen, who is paired with Kim Astrup, said Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan had made it difficult for them. Now there are several new men's doubles that have the potential to be tough opponents.

"Currently the Indonesian men's doubles pair are quite 'crazy'. They have six pairs that are included in the world rankings," said Rasmussen as quoted by Antara.

"So we are currently going to be very difficult when dealing with Indonesian players," he continued.

So far, the Indonesian men's doubles sector is considered very good in terms of regeneration. Apart from Kevin/Marcus, Hendra/Ahsan, and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, a young couple is ready to be relied on.

Starting from Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Rambitan, then Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin. In fact, they already have flashy achievements.

Fikri/Bagas won the 2022 All England. Meanwhile, Pramudya/Yeremia won the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships. Then Leo/Daniel won the 2021 SEA Games gold medal.
