Admits Lack Of Knowledge About The Names Of Formula E Racers, Spectators: Honestly, I Don't Know
JAKARTA - Some of the prospective Formula E spectators honestly admit that they have minimal knowledge regarding the names of the racers who are contestants.
As is known, the Formula E race at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) on Saturday, June 4, was greeted quite enthusiastically. Ahead of the race, the audience seemed to have been going back and forth in the circuit area.
Agung Purnomo, 22, was one of the many spectators who flocked to the race location. He said he was with his brother.
However, the final semester student at Pancasila University admitted that he did not know much about the names of the racers who would compete, except for the champion.
"Honestly, I don't know [the names of all the drivers], except for Sebastien Buemi," Agung said when met by VOI.
Furthermore, Agung said he had followed Buemi in the last few years. For that, he also hopes that his Swiss champion can win the race at JIEC, a place where he can watch live.

Currently, the 33-year-old driver who won the second edition in the 2015-2016 season is still far outside the top 10 in the drivers' standings. He sits in 15th position with a collection of just 10 points.
"What is certain is that Buemi wins [here]. He has also never been on a podium (this season). So hopefully he will be on a podium," he said.
Agung himself had the opportunity to watch it up close after being given a ticket by his brother who works at a company that has connections with Formula E.
Currently, the Formula E circuit area is already packed with spectators. Some of the spectators had already entered the stands, while most were still milling about in the direction of Ancol Beach City and Ancol Beach.
The first and second free practice sessions and qualifying sessions have been held. Meanwhile, the race will take place in the evening at 15:04 western Indonesia time.
