English Premier League Next Season Is Predicted To Be Tougher, Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel Doesn't Want A Vacation

JAKARTA - Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, reportedly will not go on vacation this summer. He wants to stay in London to prepare the team for the 2022/2023 season.

This step was taken by Tuchel because he assessed that the English Premier League next season would be more stringent. The championship competition will not only involve Manchester City and Liverpool.

"It will be a very difficult race. Manchester United will be in it, Tottenham will definitely compete with Antonio Conte," he said, as reported by Mirror.

"So when we finally have the chance to act and improve, we have to be quick and smart because the loss in terms of time to rebuild is huge."

"So no, it's impossible. I can't go on holiday, no. We want to keep competing because Liverpool and Man City will do everything to make their squad bigger and they set very high standards. They are the benchmark of consistency." Tuchel continued.

The German manager emphasized that he already had a picture of the profile and characteristics of the players they wanted. However, there are a few things to be aware of.

"You have to convince the players, you have to talk to other clubs and convince yourself that this is the player, so usually there is a lot of work," said Tuchel.

At the moment Tuchel can only wait. The reason is, the process of taking over the club from Roman Abramovich to a consortium led by Todd Boehley is still ongoing.

Reportedly, the process of changing ownership will be completed in the next few weeks. After that, Chelsea is believed to immediately step on the gas in fixing the squad.
