One Victim Of Bogor Cijeruk Landslide Still Searched By Joint Officers
BOGOR - One victim buried by an avalanche in Pasir Pogor Village, Cipelang Village, Cijeruk, Bogor Regency, West Java, is still being searched for by the joint SAR team until this afternoon.
"The victim on behalf of Eneng (24) is still being sought, the three dead victims who have been found have been taken to the hospital," said Cijeruk sub-district head Bangun Septa on the sidelines of the evacuation.
As of 11.00 western Indonesia time, the joint SAR team was still searching for the avalanche material with the help of water spray from fire engines and rock crushers.
Three landslide victims who were successfully evacuated were Duduh (43), Uum (70), and Nafis (4). The three were found dead and immediately rushed to the Kramat Jati Hospital, Jakarta for post-mortem.
"He was brought to Kramat Jati for a post-mortem, as an initial report for the police's initial action. There was a request from the family for a post-mortem," said Bangun.
According to him, the victims who died will be buried in a public cemetery (TPU) in the Cijeruk area after the post-mortem process at Kramat Jati Hospital.

Meanwhile, the five survivors, namely Hilman, Fitri, Adit, Abay, and Ama took refuge in the homes of relatives because their houses were heavily damaged by landslides.
Previously, the Young Disaster Management of the Bogor Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), M Adam said that the landslide which occurred at around 17.00 western Indonesia time on Saturday (21/5), caused two houses to be heavily damaged and two other houses slightly damaged.
Two houses that were heavily damaged were flat to the ground because they were crushed by landslide material in the form of rock foundations that hold a cliff with a height of about 6 meters.
