Archery Exceeds Target And Becomes Overall Champion At SEA Games 2021, Coach: The Result Of Seriousness

JAKARTA - The Indonesian archery team managed to exceed the target agreed upon by the Executive Board of the Indonesian Archery Association (PB Perpani) and the Review Team for the Acceleration of National Sports Achievement of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (PPON Kemenpora) at the 2021 SEA Games.

In this 31st Southeast Asian biggest sporting event, the Indonesian contingent added one medal in the sport (sports) of archery. This success also made the sport of archery win the overall title with 5 gold and 1 silver from 10 numbers that were competed.

For this achievement, Nurfitriyana as the head of the Indonesian Archery National Team gave appreciation and said that it could not be separated from the results of the seriousness of the athletes.

“This result cannot be separated from the seriousness of the children in carrying out the exercise program. And, they can achieve the best results because they appear loose," said Nurfitriyana in an official release received by VOI, Thursday.

Along with today's 2021 SEA Games overall title, chess also won gold in the Men's Team Compound number through Adika Deki Hastian, Pratama Hendika Putra and Wisnu Prima Wardhana. In the National Sports Training Center final, the Indonesian team Vietnam defeated Malaysia's representatives with a narrow score of 230-229.

With these results, the Neighboring Country Team had to settle for a silver medal. While the bronze medal was won by the Philippines, who beat Thailand with a score of 231-229 in the match for the third place.
