Can't Wait To Race In MotoGP Portugal, Marc Marquez: I Want To Fight In Front Again
JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, admitted that he couldn't wait to race in MotoGP Portugal. According to him, there will be a lot of fun there.
The Portuguese MotoGP will be held at the Algarve Portimao Circuit, April 22-24. Last season, Marc Marquez finished seventh in the race at the same place.
"I can't wait to race in Portugal. It's a challenging track, especially very physically demanding, but there's a lot of fun racing here," said Marc Marquez, as reported by Speedweek.
The Spaniard feels confident in dealing with this. The extraordinary results in the United States MotoGP make Marquez confident that he can compete in the front row.
In the American MotoGP, Marquez managed to finish sixth. That position he achieved after starting the race from the most distended position.
"In America, we showed our speed and what we are capable of, although not everything went perfectly. I want to fight at the front again and get good points after a not-so-good start to the season," said Marquez.
However, he admits there is still work to be done. According to him, the motor performance has not yet reached its maximum point.
"We have to keep working, on ourselves and on the bike, to get maximum results. I know that Honda and I have worked hard," said Marc Marquez.
