Temanggung Police Arrest Owner Of Hundreds Of Koplo Pills

TEMANGGUNG - The Temanggung Resort Police (Polres), Central Java, detained the owner of hundreds of Koplo pills with the initials DA (20) a resident of Mranggen Tengah Village, Bansari, Temanggung Regency.

The Deputy Chief of the Temanggung Police, Kompol A. Ghifar, said that DA was suspected of being a drug dealer in the form of yellow pills bearing the letter mf/Hexymer pills and white pills bearing the letter Y/Yarindo pills.

He conveyed the chronology of the incident, starting with members of the Temanggung Police Narcotics Investigation Unit receiving information about the circulation of List G drugs.

Furthermore, members of the Drug Investigation Unit of the Temanggung Police carried out an investigation and found that the suspect DA sold yellow pills bearing the letter mf/Hexymer pills and white pills with the letter Y/Yarindo pills at a price of Rp. 200,000 for each box containing 100 pills and a price of Rp. 30 .000 for each small package of 10 items.

Ghifar said members of the Drug Investigation Unit of the Temanggung Police arrested the suspect DA on Jalan Raya Parakan-Wonosobo, to be precise in front of Alfamart Catgawen, Caturanom Village, Parakan District, Temanggung Regency. .

During the search, evidence was found in the seat of the motorbike being ridden by the suspect in the form of a red and black waist bag containing 430 yellow pills with the logo mf/Hexymer, 285 white pills with the letter Y/pill Yarindo, and five plastic clips.

"From the suspect DA, Rp. 47,000 cash was confiscated from the sale of the Koplo pills," he said.

Ghifar said that based on DA's information, the Koplo pills were bought online and for resale.

He mentioned that the suspect DA was charged with Article 196 in conjunction with Article 98 paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) subsidiary Article 197 in conjunction with Article 106 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health with a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and a maximum fine of Rp. 1 billion.
