Jake Paul Wants Will Smith Vs Chris Rock Duel In The Boxing Ring, Each Will Be Paid IDR 215.6 Billion

JAKARTA - YouTuber who is now a boxer, Jake Paul seemed to enjoy the Oscar ceremony that was held yesterday, especially the part when Will Smith went on stage to slap host Chris Rock.

The incident happened after Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith's bald wife. Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed in the past that she suffers from a disease called alopecia, which causes hair loss.

Following the incident, Jake Paul took to Twitter to offer $15 million (IDR 215.6 billion) each for Will Smith and Chris Rock. Jake Paul challenged the two celebrities to participate in his undercard fight which will take place in August.

"Someone please contact me on the phone with Will Smith's boxing rep ASAP," wrote Jake Paul in another tweet.

After slapping Chris Rock, Will Smith returned to his seat, from where he shouted at the Oscar host.

"Keep my wife's name out of your damn mouth," said the man who later won the Best Actor prize.

Will Smith apologized to everyone except Chris Rock in his victory speech, just half an hour after the incident.

"You have to be able to accept harassment, and you have to be able to make people crazy about you," said Will Smith.

"In this business, you have to be able to make people disrespect you and you have to smile and you have to pretend it's okay.

"Denzel [Washington] said to me a few minutes ago, he said, 'At your highest, watch out. That's when the devil comes to you.'

"I want to apologize to the Academy, I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees. Art imitates life. I look like a crazy dad, as they say. I look like a crazy dad as they say about Richard Williams. But love will make you do crazy things.

"I hope the Academy invites me back. Thank you."
