COVID-19 Patient Dies In Bangka Increases By Three People

BANGKA - The COVID-19 Task Force of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, stated that there were three additional COVID-19 patients who died at the local regional referral hospital from Sungailiat District.

"With the addition of three COVID-19 patients who died, a total of 396 people have been recorded since the emergence of the Coronavirus in Bangka Regency for two years", said Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force Spokesperson, Boy Yandra, in Sungailiat on Friday, March 25.

"The three people are Dkn (89) female, Tsw (88) female, and Tmh (85) male. All of them have not been vaccinated", he said.

From early January to today, he said, there were more than 20 COVID-19 patients who died and the majority had never received a vaccine.

Based on information on the development of COVID-19 cases in the Bangka Regency, the total cases reached 11,988 people, 11,384 people recovered, 396 died and there were 208 active COVID-19 patients still undergoing health care in isolation centers and hospitals.

"I remind the public that they must continue to improve the discipline of health protocols even though the daily case findings continue to decline, and for residents who have not received the vaccine, especially the first dose, they should immediately register at the nearest outlet", he said.
