Football Fans, Prepare For NFL For Meta Quest And PlayStation VR
JAKARTA - The National Football League (NFL) signed a cooperation agreement with sports technology company StatusPRO on Wednesday, March 13.
They will create a new annual Virtual Reality (VR) game for Meta's Quest and Sony PlayStation VR headsets. The game allows fans to experience playing as a professional soccer player through a first-person 3D perspective on a virtual field.
Neither party disclosed details about the game's title, release date or projected price. However, they say that the game will make for an authentic extended reality experience.
StatusPRO's current endeavor is the app for the Microsoft Hololens augmented reality headset. In this case, digital soccer players are superimposed in front of them as they practice various maneuvers.
The company believes that this athlete-led technology will help make their future VR games much more immersive.

The game is designed primarily for PC and video game consoles, by giving players a view over the field, allowing them to watch almost everyone on the field during the action.
