One Student Died, Police Seize Celurit And Saber From 8 Teenagers Involved In A Brawl In Tanah Kusir

JAKARTA - A brawl between youth groups took place in front of the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU), Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. In that incident, two people were reported to be victims, one of whom died.

The Head of Pesanggrahan Sector Police, Commissioner Nazirwan, said the victim had the initials C (18) and the injured R (20). Nazirwan said the incident occurred on Wednesday, March 23, at 01.30 WIB.

“It happened at the border (Kebayoran Lama) with Pesanggrahan. The victim is still a high school student, he has the initials C for those who died, and R was injured", said Nazirwan when confirmed, Wednesday, March 23.

According to Nazirwan, the brawl occurred when the two groups of students made an appointment through social media and determined the point until a brawl took place.

"They agreed, of course, they just started a brawl", he explained.

Nazirwan said that his party had arrested eight students suspected of being involved in the action. Not only that, but the police also secured evidence of sharp weapons such as sickles and sabers.

"We have secured 8 people along with evidence of sickles and sabers", he said.
