Game Postponed Due To COVID-19, Persib Practice In The Hotel Area To Keep Feeling The Duel Moment
JAKARTA- Persib Bandung continues to maintain the condition of the players as the match against PSM Makassar was postponed which was originally scheduled to take place at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Wednesday evening.
As a substitute for the match, the Blue Prince trained in the hotel area in an effort so that players could still feel the duel moments in a match.
Persib Physical Coach Yaya Sunarya said this exercise was an effort to keep the players in good condition.
"After the match was postponed, the coaching team discussed and this afternoon held a practice using the (open) area and fitness center," he said on the club's website, Thursday quoted by Antara.
"One team trains to do strength and aerobic activities at the thread mill and the other group trains using the ball like a 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 game situation," he explained.
Yaya explained that Persib held training in medium intensity so that the weight could be similar to a 90-minute match.
"The training program is made with medium intensity and an hour's volume. We modified the training according to today's match," he explained.
The coaching team has also prepared a training program for the next match against Bhayangkara FC which will be held on 6 February.
