Here's How To Prevent Third-Party Apps From Accessing Your Google Account Data

JAKARTA You may forget that there are still many third-party applications that still have access to your Google account. In fact, if left unchecked, the application will continue to retrieve your account data.

Fortunately, there are ways to review which apps are still accessing your account and you can also revoke the access directly. To start the review, you need to open my Google Account site.

After logging in, select the Data & Privacy section. Next, you will find all the information related to your data and privacy settings. Scroll down until you find third-party apps and services.

In this section, all apps connected to your Google account will be visible. This page will be your control center. You can filter this list to find the app you want to delete the access to.

After selecting the targeted app, Google will display details of the access the third-party application has. This provides a clear picture of what data they have collected.

To revoke access completely, simply select the Delete All Connections You Have with (App or Service Name). Once confirmed, the application will not be able to access your data anymore.

This process is important to keep your account safe. By periodically revoking access to third-party applications from your Google account, you can contribute to ensuring the privacy and security of your account is maintained.
