JAKARTA - Twitch is known as a live streaming platform for gamers, but now all YouTube-like content is available there.
When watching live streaming, sometimes we miss certain moments, and can't repeat those moments. However, Twitch presents a solution.
The Microsoft-owned platform is reportedly testing a new Rewind the Stream button with some users. When they press the button, users will see the video replaying two minutes back to the current event.
From there, users can track which moment they missed, and they can even watch it at different speeds, as they do with other Twitch VOD (video on demand).
If users press the back button, they can still see what's happening in the live stream, thanks to a picture-in-picture feature that will appear above the chat. However, if the streamer does not enable VOD, the viewer will not be able to use the rewind button.

The Verge report on Thursday, October 21 reveals the rewind button will be expanded to about a quarter of users in the coming days. Twitch is also testing two other buttons. Like the Remind Me button which will allow users to get reminders for upcoming scheduled streams.
The Watch Trailer button will also allow users to watch channel trailers for a streamer (if applicable). Twitch will be testing these buttons over the next month. Once the trial is complete, the button will be removed. Unfortunately, the company is reluctant to reveal when all these updates will be rolled out globally.
