JAKARTA Telkomsel managed to strengthen its position in the fixed broadband Indonesia market. The telecommunications company leads the fixed broadband market based on the results of Opensignal analysis.
In the latest report, Opensignal compares the experiences of eight major Internet Service Providers (ISP) in Indonesia, including Biznet Home, CBN, Icon Plus, IndiHome, Indosat HiFi, MyRepublic, Oxygen.id, and XL Home.
This analysis was carried out for 90 days, starting on August 1, 2025. The results of the analysis show that Telkomsel leads a fixed broadband market share with a percentage of 67 percent.
This dominance is driven by a number of services offered, such as xDSL and fiber under the IndiHome brand. Telkomsel also offers another service, namely Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) under the Orbit brand.
This dominant market share makes Telkomsel the operator with the largest regional and population coverage for fixed broadband services throughout Indonesia. The existence of IndiHome and Orbit services ensures a wide reach, both in urban and rural areas.
