JAKARTA Acer held the Edu Summit Asia Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand for the first time. The event was held to discuss the influence of the transformation of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

With the theme Sharing Tomorrow: AI and Digital Technologies in Education, this event brings together various parties from technological backgrounds. Acer invites educators, policy makers, and technology leaders from various countries.

Some of the countries reportedly present were Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Thailand. Each of the country's representatives exchanged insights into current technological developments.

Andrew Hou, President of Pan Asia Pacific Regional Operations Acer, said that this event is part of the company's commitment. Acer strives to empower various parties, especially educators and students, in the digital world.

In one of the sessions at Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific, Indonesia performed a keynote speech on the importance of the use of AI technology. This session was performed by Richardus Eko Indrajit with the theme The Ris of Intelligent Schools.

In the session, Eko explained that the use of AI is important in creating a more personal, adaptive, and student-centered educational system. That way, AI can provide a learning path that suits students' interests and needs.

In the future, Acer Edu Summit will be used as a platform for sharing digital literacy insights and practices. Through this event, Acer also displays an AI-based device ecosystem and educational solutions designed to support education in Indonesia.
