JAKARTA Apple launched its third iOS 18.5 beta for developers on April 21. In this software update, Apple will launch some simple upgrades.
According to a MacRumors report, Apple only added small changes to the Mail app and Settings in this update. In this beta version of iOS, users get easier photo-disabling capabilities in the Mail app.
If they want to disable contact photos, they can turn off their features directly from within the app. This can be done by tapping the three-dot icon in the upper right corner, then selecting the Contact Photo option.

If you want to turn it off, make sure that there is no checkmark next to the menu. However, if the user wants to reactivate the feature, they can tap the menu until the checkmark is visible.
Meanwhile, updates in the Settings app are even simpler. The company makes AppleCare+ information more prominent so users can access information about maintenance or guarantees more easily.
The iOS 18.5 testing has not been completed so developers will see more new features in the near future even though the update is very simple. The operating system (OS) is expected to be released in a stable version in May.
In addition to launching the third 18.5 beta iOS, Apple also launched the third macOS Sequioa 15.5 beta at the same time. Not much different from the 18.5 beta 3 iOS, this macOS test does not include any of the most important new features as found in the first beta version.
