Komdigi Collaborates With HIPMI For Digital Talent Development

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs collaborates with BPP HIPMI, to accelerate digital transformation in the small and medium-sized business sectors in the country.

Menkomdigi Meutya Hafid explained that in the era of digitalization, it was not only about technological advances, but also about how technology could improve people's quality of life.

"We want to ensure that the community, especially small and medium enterprises, benefit from the progress of the digital economy," he said in a meeting with HIPMI on Tuesday, March 18.

To ensure that MSMEs benefit from this technology, Meutya emphasized the importance of accessing better digital infrastructure, supporting policies, and proper education will help them develop.

Therefore, Meutya said that Komdigi opened a space for cooperation with BPP HIPMI in the context of collaborating on a number of programs such as developing national digital talent.

"So apart from infrastructure, we are also preparing digital talents. This is what we may collaborate with later with BPP HIPMI," said Meutya.

Chairman of BPP HIPMI Akbar Himawan Buchari welcomed the collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Industry which emphasized the importance of community empowerment in the digital economy.

"We want to ensure that young business actors and the wider community can adapt to digital developments, not only as users, but also as innovators and creators of new opportunities," he said.

With government support, BPP HIPMI is optimistic that digital transformation can have a positive impact on all levels of society.

So that with this synergy, it is hoped that Indonesia's digital ecosystem can further develop and provide tangible benefits for the wider community, including increasing digital literacy, ease of access to technology, and support for young entrepreneurs.
