Xiaomi Sales Grow Up To 150 Percent In Indonesia In 2024

JAKARTA - Xiaomi Indonesia revealed a number of improvements they managed to achieve last year. According to the Chinese company, 2024 is an extraordinary year for them.

Country Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, Wentao Zhao, while holding the Xiaomi 15 Series launch event, said that his company managed to achieve much better growth than the previous year and managed to reach new consumers.

Thanks to the many innovations the company is developing, Xiaomi has managed to occupy the 5 most influential companies in the world. Xiaomi is also able to compete with other big companies by entering the top global brand.

"Xiaomi is one of the 5 most influential companies in the world and along with leading brands, Xiaomi is on the list of the top 100 global brands this year," said Wentao.

In line with this achievement, Xiaomi has also succeeded in achieving growth in Indonesia. Based on the company's internal data, the company, which has just launched the Pad 7 Series tablet, has achieved growth of up to 150 percent.

"Last year, we achieved 150 percent growth from year to year (YoY) for our high-end series in Indonesia. Once again, thank you to all Xiaomi fans," said Wentao.

Xiaomi also shows that they are able to compete with other well-known brands of mobile phones because they have occupied the top 3 mobile phone brands globally. The impact is that mobile phone shipments have increased by 50 percent.

When compared to other top brands, Xiaomi's number of shipments is the highest. Not only on mobile phones, the company's tablets also managed to occupy the top 5 brands because of the enthusiasm of the public. Meanwhile, wearable products such as smartwatches occupy the first position in the world.

"Our home ecosystem has grown to more than 860 million connected devices worldwide and we can't wait to see how much further we can achieve. The main reason for our achievement last year, in my opinion, is our commitment to investing in our innovations," explained Wentao.
