Threads Will Launch More Specific Post Search Features

JAKARTA Threads is re-launching a new feature. Through the platform's official account, Threads says that they want to help users find certain posts quickly.

So far, users can only search for posts in two options, namely Top or Latest. There is no option to search for posts over a longer time. With the latest search features, users can do this.

"We make it easier for you to find certain posts here. In the search bar, tap the menu on the right and you will see an option to narrow the search based on profile and date range," Threads explained on Tuesday, December 3.

From the images shared by Threads, it can be seen that users can filter search results within a certain date range. There is an option After Date to enter the top limit and Before Date to enter the lowest limit.

There is also a Profile button if the user wants to search for a specific post on an account. This is a very efficient way, even much easier when compared to the X platform.

X, formerly known as Twitter, can search for old posts from certain users. However, there is no special button provided by the platform so users must remember the keywords needed to search for the posts.

Thus, this improved search tool can drive a better user experience on Threads. The exact date of this launch is not yet known, but the platform under the auspices of Meta says its features will be available in the coming weeks.
