Mega Insurance And LinkAja Collaboration Makes It Easier To Purchase Insurance Digitally

JAKARTA - PT Asuransi Umum Mega (Mega Insurance), a general Indonesian insurance company, announced a strategic partnership with PT Fintek Karya Nusantara (LinkAja), a server-based payment service provider.

Marked by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by both parties, this step is part of a joint commitment to strengthen the digitization of financial services in Indonesia and increase insurance inclusion amid the adoption of digital technology in daily activities.

This partnership also aims to facilitate LinkAja users in buying property, home, and travel insurance products from Mega Insurance directly through the LinkAja application.

"I hope that with this collaboration we can continue to improve collaboration between insurance in Indonesia, which is still under 4% penetration," said Tomy Ferdiansah, CEO of Mega Insurance TBC on Wednesday, November 13.

On the same occasion, Yogi Rizkian Bahar, Chief Executive Officer of LinkAja, also said that his enthusiasm through this collaboration was to expand the LinkAja digital ecosystem.

"With this integration, our users can not only make daily payments, but also get access to insurance protection easily and comfortably, directly from the LinkAja application," said Yogi.

As a company's ongoing commitment, LinkAja will also continue to strengthen strategic synergies with partners, one of which is in the shareholder ecosystem to provide financial innovations that are full of benefits for both individual and corporate users.
