JAKARTA Gemini is a chatbot based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can be accessed on websites and applications. This chatbot can be accessed anywhere, except on iPhones in the form of mobile applications.
iOS users can still access this chatbot, but in a more complicated way than Android devices. Users must first open the Google app, then click on the Gemini tab. Unfortunately, the experience is not the same as on Android.
Fortunately, this inequality will end in the near future. According to findings of app leakers on platform X, citing from Android Police, Google will present the Gemini app on iPhone. This app will include Live and other advanced features.
After the application is released, iOS users can use Gemini without the need to be in the application. Thanks to the Live Activity feature, users can talk to the AI-based application while operating other applications.
For iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 series users, this app will improve the capabilities of its devices. The reason is, they can access Siri which is integrated with ChatGPT as well as Gemini, Google's AI model which continues to be improved.

Overall, Siri is not as good as Gemini. On Android devices, Google is trying to make Gemini a virtual assistant as well as a smarter chatbot. However, Siri only works like an ordinary virtual assistant who takes advantage of ChatGPT's capabilities.
When users ask questions beyond Siri's ability, this virtual assistant will display answers from ChatGPT. Broadly speaking, users will get information from ChatGPT, but access is made easier by Siri.
Google has released Gemini on the App Store, but specifically for iPhone users in the Philippines. The app is still in the testing phase so it is not yet known when it will be expanded to more countries.
